I have always wanted to learn to play the violin since I was a kid, 66 now and got my own. I researched the student 4/4 and decided that this one was my best decision, I love the color. Since I am going to try to learn how to play my violin myself, I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money right now. It is beautiful, was well packaged and has practically everything you need to start with. The instrument box came in a bigger box. I didn’t see any real cosmetic flaws, but it is my first. It’s lightweight and the carrying case is pretty nice (better than my guitar case) too. I tried to share as much as possible and still keep it simple. Wish me luck!
